Sondra Hickman grew up in Manson, Iowa. She received her Associates Degree in Accounting from
The American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. She continued her
education at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, studying industrial
engineering.
In 1981 Sondra moved to Phoenix, Arizona to expand her horizons. She worked in
the accounting field until 1984 when she established SH Associates, a word
processing company. With her attention to detail and her people skills SH
Associates flourished.
In 1986 Sondra and Michael founded Electronic Type & Design, Inc., merging her copywriting, proof reading and people skills with his
design and printing expertise.
